About the role:

Seymour College is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our Wellbeing Team. By working holistically with staff, families and external providers, the role strengthens the College's commitment to student wellbeing.

This role works 22.5 hours per week, for 41 weeks of the year, commencing mid January 2026. The key responsibilities are to:

  • Provide individual psychological counselling and evidence-based interventions.
  • Conduct mental health and psychometric assessments to guide support.
  • Liaise with staff, families and external agencies to coordinate care.
  • Deliver proactive and preventative programs to strengthen student wellbeing.
  • Provide professional learning, advice and resources for staff and parents.
  • Support the College in responding to critical incidents and emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and data in line with legislative requirements.

About you:

As the successful applicant, you will hold:

  • Masters in Psychology and full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, therapy and intervention for children and adolescents.
  • Experience delivering both individual therapy and group programs.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound professional judgement, and work collaboratively.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and confidence in learning new systems.
