The Mother's Day Classic Foundation
is looking for Local Hosts to bring people together for a fun run and walk in your area on
Sunday, 10 May 2026.
As the Local Host, you'll take the lead in planning and coordinating your local event, supported every step of the way by the national MDC team. You'll unite your community, encourage participation, and help raise vital funds for breast and ovarian cancer research.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Coordinate event logistics and volunteer teams
- Engage with local councils, community groups, and sponsors
- Promote your event within the community
- Create a safe, fun, and inclusive atmosphere on event day

Training
Full training and ongoing support provided by the Mother's Day Classic Foundation. You'll receive access to online resources, templates, checklists, and one-on-one guidance from our experienced Events Team.
Reimbursements
We reimburse minor event costs and support you to find local sponsorship to cover event costs.
