- Working hours preferred in the Mornings, and potential for more hours/days after mum's maternity leave

Our lovely and busy St Ives family is looking for a Nanny to assist with their newborn baby. Although the mother will sometimes be at home, she requires help, especially when taking breaks and engaging in exercises.

The nanny’s responsibilities will include feeding, changing nappies and assisting in establishing and maintaining a sleep routine. The nanny's role will also require engagements in age-appropriate activities like talking to the baby, playing baby music, offering cuddles, and supporting the baby’s developmental milestones. The nanny will prepare and sterilize bottles and help with simple meal preparation and cooking for the family.

Additional tasks will include organizing baby items and creating a weekly grocery list and meal plan with the Mum. The nanny will do the grocery shopping and prepare meals but will not be expected to do general household duties other than light baby-related laundry, if needed. The focus will be on baby care and meal preparation while the baby sleeps. Flexibility will be required for extra or modified hours during school holidays, as they have a 10-year-old child, though the primary focus will be on the baby. If the baby is unwell, the nanny may need to provide full-day care.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:

- Building a strong relationship with the children and family
- Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment
- Organising and planning fun, creative, and engaging age-appropriate activities
- Supporting the mum on maternity leave
- Preparing and cooking nutritious meals for the family
- Maintaining/learning all aspects of the family's routine

To apply, you MUST have the following experience, attitude, and qualifications:

- Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience working full-time with children
- A minimum of 2 Australian-based child-related references
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- Current National Criminal Record Check
- Driver’s licence with excellent driving skills
- Excellent communication skills
