Join a Leading Civil Team in Underground Power Installation

CINC Underground Power is a trusted name in delivering high-quality underground electrical infrastructure solutions across [region/state]. We're seeking a reliable and physically fit Civil Labourer to join our growing team and assist in the delivery of underground power projects.


About the Role

You'll be supporting our site teams with the installation of underground power services, working in outdoor civil environments with tasks including trenching, conduit and cable installation, site reinstatement, and general labouring duties.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with trenching, conduit installation and cable hauling
  • Support installation of pillars, pits, and streetlight footings
  • Site setup, maintenance and reinstatement
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Pick up and check materials from suppliers
  • Operate small tools safely
  • Maintain clean and safe worksite and equipment
  • Assist with traffic control (if ticketed)
  • Follow site instructions and contribute to team efficiency

What You'll Need

Essential:

  • Current HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver's Licence
  • Construction White Card (General Safety Induction)
  • Previous experience in civil construction or underground power
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions
  • Ability to work in a small team and follow instructions
  • Good communication skills and a safety-first attitude

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in civil construction or Energex URD

  • Familiarity with civil power installation (conduiting, cabling, reinstatement)

  • Relevant underground network or civil industry training (e.g. LV Rescue, CPR, Underground Awareness)
  • Tickets such as Traffic Control, or Excavator an advantage but not essentia
