Position Overview

We are seeking a female Support Worker with experience in community work to join our team. The successful candidate will provide compassionate, reliable, and person-centered support to clients in their homes and within the community. The role requires someone who is flexible, empathetic, and able to drive to support clients with appointments, outings, and daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual support to clients in the community and/or at home.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household support.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, social activities, and community programs.
  • Foster independence, inclusion, and well-being for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
  • Follow care plans and company policies to ensure client safety and quality service delivery.

Essential Requirements

  • Female (for client preference and care needs).
  • Previous experience in community support work or a related role.
  • Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends if required.
  • Valid Working With Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Community Services, or equivalent) – highly regarded.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $36.00 – $41.00 per hour
