Availability: 3 days per week, with a rotating 24/7 roster (Morning, Afternoon, Overnight, Weekend & Public Holidays)

Remuneration: $ $35.54 per hour + Annual leave loading + Superannuation

About the Role

Concord Repatriation General Hospital has built on its strengths of providing quality health services to returned servicemen and women and local communities, as well as undertaking world class clinical education and research.

The Emergency Department (ED) Administration Officer will perform administrative functions in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to support effective patient care. Providing excellent customer service to all patients presenting to the Emergency Department with a strong customer focused approach, and providing timely and efficient administrative support to the clinical and nursing staff of the Emergency Department, including accurate registration, admission and financial election of all patients and associated administrative duties.

Ideal Candidate

• Capacity to retain and apply knowledge of patient revenue and fee management including the use and benefits of private health insurance in the public health system.
• Holds highly effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

Applicants will need to have the ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster and willingness to consider urgent requests for coverage.
