Heavy Vehicle Delivery Driver

Join First Choice Couriers as a Delivery Driver and take the lead in delivering exceptional service to our customers. In this role, you'll operate vans to deliver freight while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. We have multiple casual positions available.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate vehicles to transport and deliver goods within designated routes.
  • Perform pre-operational checks on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Load, secure, and unload freight with care, following company and legal guidelines.
  • Provide professional and courteous service during customer interactions.
  • Use scanning equipment to ensure accurate tracking and delivery of freight.
  • Adhere to all road safety and traffic regulations while driving.
  • Assist with general warehouse or yard duties when required.

Skills

  • A valid driver's licence – with a clean driving record.
  • Experience driving vehicles, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
  • Physical fitness to load and unload freight as required.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules.
  • Strong communication skills to provide friendly and professional service.
  • Ability to use scanning devices and follow established procedures.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed.
