Step Into Your Next Chapter:

As Head of Special Education Services (HOSES), you will lead a dedicated and skilled team of teachers and teacher aides to ensure all students have access to high-quality, differentiated teaching and learning. This role offers the opportunity to champion inclusive education practices across Years 7 to 12, supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth through a dynamic, evidence-based approach.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of high-quality advice and support through the Special Education Program.
  • Lead and manage the Special Education team to provide expert guidance to classroom teachers in supporting students with disability.
  • Provide high-level advice to the college leadership team, teachers, and staff to develop, plan, and implement effective reasonable adjustments for students with disability.
  • Coordinate and deliver targeted, intensive teaching and intervention for students requiring additional support.
