As part of the Aboriginal Outcomes and Equity team, the primary function of this role is to deliver innovative communication tactics and activities in partnership with subject matter experts and stakeholders that work to increase Aboriginal student outcomes.
The role will work in partnership with subject matter experts and stakeholders to deliver evidence-led communication programs. You will collaborate with partners across Communication and Engagement directorate (media, external and internal channel managers, brand and content teams, data and analytics) to provide seamless delivery of our communication programs for our internal customers to our target audiences – typically comprising students, parents and carers, teachers, principals and school-based staff and corporate staff.

About you
- Strong communicator, engaging writing and ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences
- Collaborative mindset with proven experience working with stakeholders to deliver effective outcomes
- Data-driven and confident using analytics to measure impact and refine communication strategies
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-changing environment
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
