We are seeking highly motivated Criminal Investigation Officers to join our Criminal Investigations teams within the Fraud and Criminal Behaviours (FCB) business area. FCB is dedicated to developing comprehensive solutions to address deliberate, systemic, or complex behaviours, that threaten the integrity of the Taxation and Superannuation systems. We play a key role in supporting the ATO's core compliance functions by conducting a wide range of investigations across a broad range of tax-related crimes, including those pursued through the Serious Financial Crimes Taskforce.

As a Criminal Investigation Officer, you will investigate fraud offences to a criminal standard of proof. You'll assist in preparing full briefs of evidence for the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions and identify risks and opportunities, gather admissible evidence, and deliver quality briefs of evidence.

The role may require interstate travel and a current Australian driver's licence is essential. You may be required, at times, to work flexible hours outside of the standard bandwidth.

These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Melbourne CBD, Newcastle, Perth or Sydney CBD.
