Role: Oracle ERP Cloud - Senior Developer

Role: Contract

Location: Melbourne

Duration: 6 months, with possible extension

Responsibilities:

  • Design & Develop Reports:
    Create custom reports and dashboards using
    Oracle ERP Cloud
    reporting tools, including
    OTBI
    and
    Smart View
    .
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders:
    Work closely with
    finance
    and
    IT teams
    to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring that reporting solutions align with organizational objectives.
  • Maintain & Optimize Reports:
    Continuously optimize, maintain, and improve existing reports and dashboards for enhanced performance and usability.
  • Data Integrity & Accuracy:
    Ensure high levels of data accuracy and integrity across all reporting outputs.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
    Provide ongoing technical support and resolve issues related to
    Oracle ERP Cloud
    reporting.
  • Documentation & Best Practices:
    Document development processes, methodologies, and best practices for
    reporting solutions
    and configurations.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    Bachelor's degree in computer science,
    Information Technology
    ,
    Finance
    , or a related field.
  • 7+
    years of experience with
    Oracle ERP Cloud
    reporting tools (
    OTBI
    ,
    Smart View
    , and
    Financial Reporting Studio
    ).
  • Strong understanding of
    financial processes
    and
    Oracle Cloud Financials
    (e.g.,
    General Ledger
    ,
    Accounts Payable
    ,
    Accounts Receivable
    ).
  • Proven experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing
    business reports
    .
  • Strong
    SQL
    skills for report development and data extraction.
  • Proficient in
    Excel
    and
    Business Intelligence
    tools.
  • Experience with
    Hyperion
    for financial reporting (optional, if applicable).
  • Excellent
    analytical
    ,
    problem-solving
    , and
    communication
    skills.
  • Ability to work both
    independently
    and as part of a
    team
    .
  • A
    financial/accounting background
    or
    accountancy qualification
    is preferred but not required.
