About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Retail Manager or Retail Supervisor to join the dynamic team at our client's Retail Newsagent Store(s) in Hamilton, Queensland. As Retail Manager/Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. This full-time position offers the chance to utilise your leadership skills and expertise in the retail industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and lead a team of retail associates, providing coaching, training and performance feedback to ensure excellent customer service
  • Oversee inventory management, merchandising and visual displays to create an engaging and appealing shopping experience
  • Analyse sales data and customer trends to identify opportunities for growth and implement effective marketing strategies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant legislation
  • Liaise with head office to communicate store performance and collaborate on new initiatives
  • Foster a positive and productive work culture that aligns with the company's values

What we're looking for

  • Diploma in Retail Management or relevant field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a retail management or supervisory role

  • Proficient in data analysis and using technology to drive operational efficiency
