This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Retail Manager or Retail Supervisor to join the dynamic team at our client's Retail Newsagent Store(s) in Hamilton, Queensland. As Retail Manager/Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. This full-time position offers the chance to utilise your leadership skills and expertise in the retail industry.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and lead a team of retail associates, providing coaching, training and performance feedback to ensure excellent customer service
- Oversee inventory management, merchandising and visual displays to create an engaging and appealing shopping experience
- Analyse sales data and customer trends to identify opportunities for growth and implement effective marketing strategies
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant legislation
- Liaise with head office to communicate store performance and collaborate on new initiatives
- Foster a positive and productive work culture that aligns with the company's values
What we're looking for
- Diploma in Retail Management or relevant field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a retail management or supervisory role
