Signature Orthopaedics is a global medical device manufacturer, boasting an extensive implant catalogue and intellectual property portfolio. We take great pride in delivering innovative medical devices that improve the lives of patients and surgeon performance alike and continue to attract customers around the globe as well as here in Australia We are unique as the only manufacturer of hip, knee and spine implants in Australia which we do at our Lane Cove West, Sydney, NSW primary manufacturing facility and head office. All our implants are high-quality, precision-made parts from Titanium, Cobalt Chrome, Stainless Steel, Polyethylene, PEEK and other medical grade materials. We design, machine, polish, blast, passivate, anodise, laser-etch and sterile pack all our implants on site.

Qualifications & experience

  • 4 years experience in Graphic Design
  • Degree in Graphic Design
  • Degree in Advertising
  • Highly Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Keyshot, Figma, After effect
  • Abitlity to develop graphic communications to portray complex technical information to both a layperson and technical audience
  • Experience in product photography
  • Strong typography, layout and composition skills to deliver beautiful deshign experiences across print and digital formats

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Design and creation of Orthopaedic device Surgical Techniques, Brochures, and leaflets.
  • Discussion with Engineers and Designers to determine the requirements for the content of the Orthopaedic device surgical techniques.
  • Creation and processing of Radiographic Imagery for surgical templating.
  • Creation and design of Medical Device Packaging Materials and labelling.
  • Preparation of sketches, illustrations and 3D renders of orthopaedic implants and instruments for inclusion within different marketing materials and relevant surgical techniques.
  • Presenting and negotiating design iterations for brochures and leaflets with the marketing manager and key company stakeholders.
  • Selection and recommendation of Orthopaedic device content for display on the Signature Orthopaedics website and at differing trade shows and surgeon meetings.
  • Management of the printing and distribution of Orthopaedic Brochures and other marketing materials to external parties and trade shows
  • Professional Photography of Orthopaedic Implants for inclusion in marketing materials (Orthopaedic Brochures/Leaflets), Surgical Techniques and on the Signature Orthopaedics Website.
  • Documentation and version control of Surgical Techniques and Orthopaedic Brochures/Leaflets for future revisioning
