
Exciting New Role for an Experienced Electrician

Mainpower Electrics, a successful, well-established business, is offering a rare opportunity to the right person to become a part of our ever-growing dynamic team in a full-time position. Working primarily on major residential projects in Sydney.
This role is for an electrician who is looking to further their career and is interested in innovative solutions.
To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:
Key responsibilities include:
- Review of project plans and specification to ensure a complete understanding of the project
- Liaise with builders site foreman for day-to-day coordination and maintaining a good working relationship on-site
- Provide an effective communication conduit between the builder and Mainpower Electrical management to ensure project program is followed and any variations in the scope of works are discussed/approved prior to works
- Management of labour & materials – including forecast planning for major milestones
- Coordination and management of staff (including sub-contractors), ensuring all staff have undergone appropriate inductions, training and knowledge of scope of works
- Enforcement of company WHS policies and procedures to ensure safe working condition for the team
- Maintaining all tools and equipment on site to a high standard
- Performing routine quality assurance (QA) site inspections
Skills & experience:
- Proven track record effectively leading a team of electricians
- Experience with large and small multi-residential Projects
- Ability to accurately interpret plans and specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Demonstrate excellent leadership skills – including teamwork, communication to a large group, coordination of tasks and staff
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Reliable and punctual
- Lighting control i.e. Dynalite/ C-BUS experience would be advantageous
Qualifications:
- Electrical contractor/supervisor licence would be advantageous although not essential
- Current NSW driver's licence
- Construction induction safety white card
