Work Zone Traffic Manager

Location: Adelaide Metro & Surrounding Areas

Pay Rate: $36.26 per hour + penalties + Daily Travel + Meal allowance

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

We are currently seeking experienced and ticketed Work Zone Traffic Managers (WZTM) to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for overseeing traffic management operations on civil and infrastructure projects across Adelaide, ensuring the safety of workers, motorists, and pedestrians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, monitor, and remove traffic control devices in accordance with approved Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
  • Supervise and coordinate traffic control teams on-site
  • Ensure compliance with WHS and traffic management regulations
  • Liaise with site supervisors, contractors, and the public
  • Complete site documentation and incident reports as required
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures

Requirements:

  • Current WZTM Accreditation (SA)
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport - Must be able to drive Manual
  • Strong understanding of TMPs and SA traffic control standards
  • Excellent communication
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and night shifts if required
