Watsons Caravans Port Macquarie are currently seeking dedicated and reliable people to join our team as Caravan Interior Detailer & Office Cleaners at our dealership located at 187 Hastings River Drive, Port Macquarie

Position Overview:

Role: Caravan Interior Detailer & Office Cleaner.

Permanent Part time hours of work 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday.

Location: Watsons Caravans Port Macquarie NSW (on-site)

Key Responsibilities:

A. Interior Caravan Detailing

  • Perform deep cleaning of entire caravan interiors: ovens, toilets, panels, windows, seats, and carpets.
  • Utilize vacuuming, steam cleaning, liquid cleaners, and brushes to remove upholstery stains and polish non-porous surfaces.
  • Remove seats and interior components as necessary to ensure comprehensive cleaning.

B. Caravan Cleaning Scheduling

  • Maintain a regular cleaning routine to keep caravans presenting at their best for sales and display.
  • Ensure wax, polishing, and general cleaning are conducted regularly—not just for special occasions.

C. Office & Amenities Cleaning

  • Dust furniture, partitions, walls, and equipment.
  • Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilets, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, and kitchen areas.
  • Replenish restroom supplies.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and/or hand-scrub floors using appropriate cleaning tools.
  • Empty bins and recycling into disposal areas.
  • Wipe down walls, doors, baseboards, wall hangings, and windows.
  • Identify and report safety or maintenance issues to management in writing.
  • Arrive on schedule and ensure the facility is secured upon completion.
  • Handle special customer requests and document them in checklists and paperwork.
  • Adhere to all safety policies relating to tasks, product use, and incident reporting.

  • High attention to detail with responsiveness to special requests.
  • Friendly and professional demeanour—able to interface with customers onsite.
  • Team player: works cooperatively to get tasks done.
  • Self-starter: able to identify work that needs to be done proactively.
  • Strong desire to learn, take on challenges, and assume additional responsibilities.
  • Practical reasoning and common-sense problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Licence/Certification:

  • Full Driver Licence (Preferred)
