About The Opportunity:

UON are seeking applications from experienced Site Surveyors to join our projects teams on a 2:1 or 8:6 FIFO roster.

  • Undertake civil surveys including construction, set out and audits, as constructed and feature surveys
  • Carry out survey calculations, drafting and reports where necessary including the use of any appropriate software to facilitate.
  • Manage and control survey documentation to statutory authorities and project guidelines
  • Oversee and assist with the management of third part surveying contractors.
  • Develop the business surveying capability to meet requirements.
  • Conduct detailed site assessments and collect survey data before, during, and after construction.
  • Set out coordinates, elevations, and boundaries according to design plans to guide the construction team and mark key points on-site.
  • Verify construction alignment, elevations, and slopes, ensuring all works conform to plans and specifications.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience.
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Surveying.
  • Experience with Topcon, Carlson, Pocket 3D or similar highly desirable.
  • CAD software experience
  • Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and software.
