About the Role

We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver - Stores Assistant who possesses a practical hands on approach and excellent attention to detail for our Rutherford Workshop.

Key duties will consist of, but will not be limited to

  • Deliver and pick-up various Customer and Client Site orders within the Newcastle region
  • Travel in a maintained company vehicle
  • Start and finish each day at our Rutherford Store
  • Forklift duties occasionally
  • Stocktaking and Stores Assistant duties as required.
  • Demonstrate a 'safety-first' work ethic and positive can-do attitude

The key team member we are looking for needs:

  • Long term outlook and willing to grow within the company
  • Adaptability to change and demonstrate flexibility
  • A current Drivers Licence (HR desirable but not essential).
  • Clean Driving Record with a demonstrated care for other road users
  • A Current Forklift Ticket
  • A proven problem solving ability with strong work ethic
  • An awareness of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements
  • Availability to work overtime shifts if and when required
