We prepare and deliver fresh, homestyle meals to children in early learning centres daily.

The Job

We are seeking an energetic Casual Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to become a part of our expanding team. The position will be based out of our distribution facility in Carrington ( Newcastle Your primary responsibility will be delivering catering services to childcare centres and schools throughout the Newcastle/Hunter region. A professional appearance and a friendly demeanor are essential for this role.

The Details

  • $38 per hour ( inc casual loading) , plus Super
  • Casual
  • 6.00 AM Starts - Monday to Friday
  • We supply the vehicle
  • Newcastle depot

The Ideal Candidate will possess the following:

  • Current C Class Driver's Licence for NSW.
  • Experience in driving a small truck is essential. Only a Car Licence is required to drive our small, refrigerated truck.
  • A clean driving record (an RTA print-out will be requested).
  • The confidence to safely drive and navigate through busy streets, suburban roads and/or regional areas.
  • Be strong and fit to carry the delivery orders. As well as driving, you'll be on your feet, lifting and carrying boxes from the truck to your delivery points (there could be stairs).
  • Experience with multi-drop deliveries (approximately 30 drops per day).
  • Ability to work overtime when required.
  • Reside within the Newcastle area.
  • Must present well and have great communication skills.
  • Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Able to undergo a Fit to Work employment medical check.
  • First Aid Certificate would be highly desirable.
  • Must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia ( sorry no WHV or student visa applicants will be consider for this role )
