About the role

As a Dental Assistant with , you will play a vital role in supporting our dental practitioners and ensuring our patients receive exceptional care. This part time position is located in Mount Waverley, VIC 3149, and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting dentists during treatments and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
  • Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising equipment to maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control
  • Greeting patients and providing exceptional customer service
  • Maintaining detailed patient records and assisting with administrative tasks as required
  • Front desk duties/reception when required (30-40% of your total time)
  • Supporting the dental team in the implementation of practice policies and procedures
  • Continuously expanding your knowledge and skills to provide the best possible support to the dental team

What we're looking for

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and the dental team
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to use Dental 4 Windows practice management software or quick learner with computers
  • A passion for delivering high-quality patient care and a commitment to continuous learning
  • Ability to work with new technology such as Cerec and 3D Printer.
  • Ability to do reception tasks such as taking payments, phones calls and booking patients.
  • Available to work Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturdays(Saturday rates will be applicable)
  • Available to work evenings
