Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role for a Security Officer located in the Greater Sydney Area. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, responding to incidents, operating surveillance equipment, and ensuring the safety and security of people and property. Additional duties include reporting suspicious activities, coordinating with law enforcement as necessary, and maintaining logs and records of daily activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in physical security operations, including monitoring and patrolling areas
- Skills in operating surveillance equipment and emergency response
- Excellent observational and reporting skills
- Ability to coordinate effectively with law enforcement and maintain logs and records
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications such as a Security License and First Aid Certification
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
