Your New Role

As a Commercial Procurement Sourcing Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting procurement activities across a diverse range of categories including ICT, infrastructure, and professional services. You'll work closely with category managers and stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights, support tender processes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement operations. Your analytical expertise will help shape sourcing strategies and ensure the university achieves optimal value and quality in its supplier engagements.

This role is ideal for an outgoing individual, with strong commercial and technical acumen, data/power BI, commercial analytics experience. You will be curious, go-getter who will be conversing with technical internal procurement stakeholders on a regular basis.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To thrive in this role, you'll bring:

  • Experience in procurement or commercial analytics within a large, complex organisation
  • Strong skills in Power BI and Data interpretation
  • Ability to forecast team performance/analytics through data.
  • A solid understanding of supplier markets, cost structures, and sourcing methodologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
