Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in analysing business performance, creating clear and meaningful reports, and developing data-driven solutions that support continuous improvement in both service quality and commercial outcomes. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to translate insights into actionable strategies — ensuring the right data is available, accurate, and used effectively to make informed decisions.

In 2019, Centacare Child Care Services centres across South East Queensland came together under a new name — Catholic Early EdCare. Building on more than 14 years of experience, we continue to provide quality early education and care across more than 130 services, supporting children from six weeks of age through to high school.

• Analyse and interpret business performance data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities
• Develop and maintain insightful reports and dashboards to support decision-making
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to turn data insights into practical, actionable strategies
• Ensure data accuracy and availability across systems
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance both service and commercial outcomes

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills — able to explain data insights clearly and meaningfully
• Experience with data visualization or BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
• A collaborative mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving
• (Desirable) Experience in education, community, or child care sectors
