About the Role

We're looking for a talented Senior UX/UIDesigner to join the Convert Digital team on a full time basis. You'll play an integral role in supporting our design function, working closely with senior designers and developers to produce high-quality, user-focused digital experiences across ecommerce projects and marketing initiatives.

This role is ideal for a designer with a strong eye for detail, excellent technical execution, and a collaborative mindset. You'll help maintain design consistency, support project rollouts, and contribute to client and internal marketing deliverables that align with established brand systems.

How You'll Make an Impact

As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you'll drive user-centered design excellence across ecommerce projects, lead UX research, translate insights into design strategies and guide the delivery of cohesive, intuitive digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Project Leadership - Manage design projects from initiation to completion, translating client briefs into high-impact, user-focused ecommerce solutions that meet both user needs and business objectives.
  • Client Workshops & Collaboration - Plan and lead design workshops to gather requirements and shape UX strategies. Present concepts and design rationale confidently, maintain active client engagement, and integrate feedback effectively to align solutions with user needs and business goals.
  • UX Research & Strategy - Plan and conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design direction and validate solutions. Act as a trusted advisor, providing evidence-based, forward-thinking recommendations that improve user outcomes and business goals.
  • Design Execution - Produce innovative, accessible, and performant UX/UI concepts tailored to ecommerce platforms. Balance creative exploration with platform constraints and proven UX patterns to deliver cohesive, intuitive digital experiences.
  • Documentation & Development Support - Deliver accurate, detailed specifications and dev-ready handover materials to ensure smooth build, minimise errors, and accelerate development. Continuously refine documentation standards for clarity and efficiency.
  • Sales Support - Collaborate with sales to scope projects, estimate effort, and shape proposals. Communicate the value and expected impact of design solutions with clarity and confidence during pre-sales conversations.
  • Team Contribution - Drive team development by leading mentoring, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical guidance, remove blockers, and promote best practices to elevate team performance and workflow efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement - Identify and implement improvements to UX and design workflows, tools, and standards to increase clarity, efficiency, and quality.

About You

  • 5+ years' experience in digital, UI, or UX design roles (agency or ecommerce experience a plus).
  • Proficient in Figma, with strong foundational design and file management skills.
  • Experience creating developer-ready design documentation or component specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Understanding of ecommerce design principles, responsive design, and accessibility best practices.
  • Familiarity with UX research methods or HTML/CSS fundamentals.
