We're looking for a motivated Recoveries Specialist to manage a portfolio of recovery claims and secure strong financial outcomes. Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Recoveries Team Leader, you'll manage a portfolio of recovery claims and ensure prompt, fair, and accurate outcomes by:
- Investigating and managing claims to achieve maximum recovery outcomes
- Liaising with insurance companies, third parties, and legal representatives
- Negotiating settlements to recover owed funds and reduce write-offs
- Preparing evidence and documentation to support claims recovery
- Escalating claims through legal channels where appropriate
- Working to meet team and individual KPIs related to revenue recovery and aged debt
- Contributing to team meetings and continuous improvement activities
- Minimising aged debt through proactive portfolio management
What You'll Bring
- Experience in debt collection, recoveries, or a similar financial enforcement role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong numeracy and written communication abilities
- Confidence in gathering and presenting evidence in written or verbal form
- Highly self-motivated with strong time management and independence
- Professional and composed in high-pressure situations
Highly regarded:
- Understanding of credit hire processes
- Familiarity with the motor vehicle or motor insurance industry
- Knowledge of road rules and motor liability
- CAPI licence (desirable but not essential)
