We're a fast-growing e-commerce business and are looking for a hands-on E-Commerce & Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, customer service, and logistics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys variety in their work, and wants to grow a small team.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day online store operations through our Shopify Store.
  • Update product types and stock levels where relevant
  • Liaise with management to ensure seamless order flow.
  • Oversee daily online store operations to ensure smooth order processing and fulfilment. We are using Shopify for our online store
  • Manage product listings, pricing, stock levels, and website content updates.
  • Monitor order flow, and customer experience.
  • Coordinate with your warehouse staff to maintain accurate inventory and timely dispatch.
  • Manage courier integrations (e.g. Starshipit) and resolve delivery issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and the overall customer journey.

Customer Service & Sales

  • Handle inbound customer calls and email enquiries with professionalism and product knowledge.
  • Provide tailored support to both retail and trade customers. This will occur both face to face and over the phone.
  • Manage telephone-based sales, quotes, and order follow-ups.

Warehouse Operations

  • Oversee warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Assist with pick and pack activities during busy periods.
  • Maintain efficient stock control, inventory accuracy, and warehouse organisation.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch.
  • Manage inbound container deliveries.

Logistics & Couriers

  • Monitor freight costs and resolve delivery issues promptly.
  • Negotiate and manage courier relationships to ensure best pricing and reliable delivery.
  • Experience with Starshipit, or similar freight management software preferred.

About You

  • Previous experience in a small e-commerce operations management role with warehouse responsibilities.
  • Confident interacting with customers face to face and over the phone
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced business.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Starshipit (or similar platforms), and basic inventory system
