The Organisation:

The Role:
This organisation is seeking a Finance Officer to join their finance team. Reporting into the Corporate Finance Manager, you will play a key role in contributing to effective financial operations and maintenance of the integrity of the accounting system. The role is from the 30th June 2025 to the 30th June 2026. Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Generating timely financial reports and statements for the organisation in relation to team/unit revenue and expenditure performance and management reporting
  • Preparing periodic reconciliations as required to ensure internal and external audit compliance
  • Supporting month end processes e.g. journals, accruals, prepayments and other necessary adjustments.
  • Preparing purchase requisitions
  • Maintaining the accounting system (Technology One)
Your Profile:
  • Experience in an Assistant Accountant, Finance Officer, or similar role
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables/vlookups)
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve deadlines within agreed timeframes
  • Ability to prioritise competing priorities
  • Continuous improvement of work practices, systems, and processes
  • Experience with TechnologyOne ideal
