JAK Automotive Services is a busy, fast-paced independent workshop located in the heart of Alexandria, Sydney.
We're a small, tight-knit team that works on everything from old classics and daily runabouts to high-end European luxury vehicles. No two days are the same here and we like it that way.
We're looking for a reliable, organised, and customer focused Admin/Receptionist to join our growing team. If you've got strong communication skills, a great attitude, and you enjoy keeping things running smoothly, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Be the first point of contact for customers (in person, phone, and email)
- Book appointments, manage the diary, and maintain accurate records
- Liaise with mechanics to keep customers updated on their vehicles
- Prepare invoices, quotes, and job cards
- General admin and reception duties to support the smooth running of the workshop
- Provide friendly, professional customer service every time
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Previous experience in reception, administration, or customer service (automotive background is a big bonus but not essential - Salary aligned with experience)
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and people skills – you're confident dealing with everyone from first-time car owners to car enthusiasts
- Comfortable using computers (Microsoft Office, Booking Systems, Supplier Portals)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, busy team
- Current driver's licence

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 – $34.50 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
