TLC Early Learning is seeking a passionate and fully registered Early Childhood Teacher to join our team and help shape the future of early education. Reporting to the General Manager – Early Learning, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the establishment of a new centre and be part of our innovative Intergenerational Program, connecting children with the broader community.

About the Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality education and care for children aged 3 years to 6 years
- Lead your room's daily operations and guide educators in line with TLC policies and regulations
- Collaborate with the Educational Leader to develop and reflect on a play-based curriculum aligned with VEYLF
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Contribute to our Intergenerational Program, fostering meaningful community engagement
What You'll Need
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACEQA approved) full VIT
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Accredited Child Protection Training
- Teacher Accreditation (if applicable by state/territory)
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of NQS, VEYLF, and EYLF
- Familiarity with the Reggio Emilia approach and other innovative learning methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead, collaborate, and manage priorities effectively
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office and early learning software
- Commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in early childhood education
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry children (4–10kg), move between floor and standing positions, and maintain physical mobility throughout the day
