Metso is looking for an Apprentice Caster & Moulder to join their team in Ballina, New South Wales.

RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE

Perform specific engineering measurements as required in the Foundry.

Responsible for the preparation of sand moulds for the casting process.

Liaise with Patternmakers and Metallurgist about casting designs.

Be responsible by following instructions under a professionally structured training programme.

Use a range of tools, equipment and machinery in the production process of creating cores, moulds and subsequent metal castings.

Prepare and mix sand for moulds and cores production.

Learn and become an expert in the calibration of moulding sand mixers.

Identifying casting defects and learning how to eliminate them.

You will be based in Australia already. This role is located in Ballina, NSW.
