Project description

We are looking for a DevOps Architect with experience in the Banking/Financial Services industry for one of our banking customers in Australia.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating the development process and operations.
  • Identifying setbacks and shortcomings.
  • Creating suitable DevOps channels across the organization.
  • Establishing continuous build environments to speed up software development.
  • Designing efficient practices.
  • Delivering comprehensive best practices.
  • Managing and reviewing technical operations.
  • Guiding the development team

SKILLS

Must have

  • 15+ years of relevant working experience
  • Deep hands-on experience with Cloud Services
  • Deep understanding of DevOps principles and experience with configuring and running CI/CD platforms
  • Excellent understanding of overall architecture and best practices -
  • Experience in project migration from on-prem to Cloud platform
  • Disaster Recovery plans and designing of multi-region high availability architectures.
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to communicate technical solutions to a business audience.
  • Ability to create clear and to-the-point software solution architecture documents, diagrams, and slides.
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience working with customers face to face, leading and driving discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation
