Do you have mining experience? We are searching for motivated, hard-working and safety conscious individuals to join Fosterville Gold Mine for hands-on roles underground.

About the role

Location: Fosterville Gold Mine - 30 minutes drive from Bendigo

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of services throughout all underground work areas.

Duties:

  • Assisting with installation and maintenance of underground services including water, compressed air and ventilation and pumping services
  • Assist the Fixed Plant team with the electrical and communication equipment installations and removal
  • Complete cable bolt plate and tensioning
  • Watering and scaling of development and production areas
  • Assist Charge Up Crew or other work groups (when trained & competent)

The roster is 7:7 rotating - 7 days on/off, 7 nights on/off and 12 hour shifts.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous underground experience in Service Crew, Charge-Up or cross-functional roles
  • Physically fit - this role requires safe manual handling of up to 20kg
  • Safety focused
  • Hold a current manual drivers licence
  • Australian working rights
