About the role

Cairns Beaches Psychology is seeking a psychologist on a contract basis in Smithfield, QLD. As a psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Delivering individual  therapy sessions using a range of evidence-based psychological therapies
  • Providing clinical support and guidance to clients experiencing a variety of mental health concerns
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed client records in accordance with professional standards

What we're looking for

  • Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated experience in providing psychological assessments and interventions in a clinical setting
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of client populations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and other healthcare providers
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the growth of the team
