About the role

Join the QRI Village team as a Housekeeping Team Member in Coppabella QLD 4741. This is a casual role that will see you playing a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities.  We are located 30 minutes from Moranbah and 1.5 hours from Mackay.  Shift patterns available include 5 and 2, 7 and 7 and 9 & 5.

What you'll be doing

  • Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, restocking amenities, and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining public and common areas.
  • Restock and organise cleaning supplies and inventory
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene protocols
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests
  • Perform other general housekeeping duties as required

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good physical fitness and stamina to perform the duties of the role
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel would be well regarded
  • Management of a small team would be highly regarded
