Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Quality Engineer experienced in SAP testing (with an understanding of change management and deployment processes) and Web Application Testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep technical knowledge in quality assurance practices and a practical understanding of testing tools including Tosca and qTest.

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you are expected to have a solid understanding of software development lifecycle models and the ability to enhance quality through the use of modern automation tools, effective processes, and collaborative practices. You should also possess practical experience across all phases of testing—including test planning and design, execution, defect management, and reporting—along with leadership capabilities in estimation, prioritization, and coordinating testing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and maintain test cases for:

• SAP backend

• Web Browser application
• Perform functional, Integration and Regression testing of ABAP developments including Web based front end application (end to end validation of SAP and non-SAP systems)
• Collaborate with developers (SAP ABAP and Java) to verify technical specifications
• Create and maintain automated Regression test suite for SAP GUI and Web application using Tosca or equivalent frameworks (like Testim).
• Manage and track test executions using qTest or similar test management tools.
• Coordinate the logging, prioritization, and resolution of defects in partnership with delivery teams
• Experience with browser developer tools and inspecting front-end behavior.
• Ensure test coverage and traceability across requirements, test cases, and defects.
• Maintain and manage test data across environments to support consistent and reliable test execution
• Work in agile teams and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Experience in Application Integration testing and tools such as Postman for interface validation

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in quality assurance and software testing
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experienced in creating, scripting, and executing tests using test automation tools, with strong preference for Tosca expertise (SAP test automation experience preferred)
• Proficiency in test management tools ( eg. qTest, JIRA)
• Experience in web testing
• Knowledge of SAP, familiarity with SAP development tools
• Knowledge of HTML, Javascript, and browser debugging for web testing
• Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
• Knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, qTest)
• Ability to create reusable and maintainable test assets.

Nice to Have:

·       Experience with Selenium/WebdriverIO

·       Familiarity with SAP BTP, CTMS or SAP Cloud ALM.

·       ISTQB or equivalent certification.

·       Understanding of AWS infrastructure and virtual machine setup and configuration

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
