Green Light are delivering a project for an industry leading organisation and have a requirement for an SAP Basis Consultant to join our technical delivery team. This role will be based in North Sydney.

You should be a skilled and experienced SAP Basis Consultant with a strong background in managing and supporting SAP environments on IBM P-Series servers running AIX. Ideally you will have a proven track record of delivering reliable Basis administration, system performance tuning, upgrades, and troubleshooting in complex enterprise landscapes

Skills/Experience:

  • Install, configure, and administer SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.) in P-Series/AIX environments.
  • Perform system copies, upgrades, support package stacks, kernel updates, and patch management.
  • Support database administration activities (Oracle/DB2/HANA as applicable).
  • Coordinate with infrastructure teams on AIX/P-Series hardware, OS-level patching, and performance optimization
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator.
  • Hands-on expertise with IBM P-Series (Power Systems) and AIX operating system.
  • Strong experience in SAP installations, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
  • Good understanding of database administration (Oracle/DB2/HANA).
  • Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of SAP security concepts and user administration.
  • Bachelors and SAP Certification advantages.
  • 6 month initial contract offered with extensions available.
  • North Sydney location.
  • Flexible rate on offer.
