The Opportunity

We're looking for a hands-on Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Fitter to support our clients Perth workshop team. You'll oversee daily maintenance activities, mentor trades staff, and ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This position will start in Bayswater and transition to our new Muchea facility in the near future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of HD Fitters and Trades Assistants
  • Carry out diagnostics, repairs, and component overhauls on CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi equipment
  • Maintain safety, quality, and maintenance standards across all work
  • Coordinate workflow and communicate with supervisors to meet production goals
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the workshop

About You

  • Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic / HD Fitter
  • Experience in a Leading Hand or senior workshop role
  • Strong technical knowledge of mining and earthmoving machinery
  • Confident leader with a safety-first mindset
  • Perth-based
