CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT – BUTCHER SHOP

Location: Halls Head, WA

Pay: $25.50 – $29.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Mandurah Prime Cuts is opening a state-of-the-art butcher shop in Halls Head, and we're searching for motivated Customer Service Assistants to join our foundation team.

This is your chance to work in a brand-new store with modern equipment, a supportive team culture, and above-award pay.


THE ROLE

You'll be the face of Mandurah Prime Cuts – welcoming customers, preparing orders, and ensuring the shop floor and displays reflect our high standards.

Your role is all about service, presentation, and creating an excellent customer experience.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and serving customers with professionalism and energy

  • Weighing, packaging, and labelling fresh meat products (no slicing required)

  • Keeping counters, fridges, and displays clean, safe, and well-stocked

  • Rotating stock to maintain freshness and quality

  • Operating POS systems, EFTPOS, and cash transactions

  • Working with the team to keep operations smooth and efficient


WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Experience in customer service, retail food, supermarket, or butcher shop (preferred but not essential)

  • Strong people skills and a customer-first approach

  • Clear communication and teamwork ability

  • Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic

  • Pride in maintaining hygiene and food safety standards

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
