Location: Halls Head, WA

Pay: $38.00 – $42.00 per hour (above-award, based on experience)

Mandurah Prime Cuts is opening a brand-new, custom-built butcher shop with the latest equipment, and we're looking for an exceptional Master Butcher to help build something special from the ground up. We believe in craftsmanship, pride, and excellence—and we pay accordingly.

THE ROLE

You'll be the heart of the butchery—setting standards for quality, presentation, and service, and shaping a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and train butchers and apprentices

• Own daily operations across back-of-house and front counter

• Execute advanced cutting, portioning, and yield management

• Develop and refine value-added products and displays

• Uphold stringent hygiene, food safety, and WHS standards

• Coordinate stock rotation, ordering, and waste minimisation

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Certificate III in Meat Processing (Retail Butcher) required; Certificate IV highly regarded

• Extensive, hands-on experience across all aspects of butchery

• Proven leadership that lifts team capability and morale

• Deep product knowledge and pride in presentation

• Current Food Safety Handling Certificate (mandatory)

• Reliable, organised, and calm under pressure
