This role suits someone who is strong in HR coordination, highly organised, and confident taking ownership of P&C processes. You will work closely with leaders, manage complex workforce requirements, and help shape the way we support our people.

About the Role:

Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, you will take the lead in coordinating key HR functions while ensuring a high level of compliance, accuracy, and service delivery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to step into a more senior, accountable space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare documentation for audits and ensure personnel files meet regulatory standards.
  • Maintain compliance dashboards and escalate risks proactively.

    Employee Lifecycle Management
  • Prepare contracts, variations, and other documentation with a high level of accuracy.
  • Coordinate smooth onboarding, probation tracking, and offboarding processes.
  • Support HR reporting and data integrity across all systems.

    Employee Relations and Advisory Support
  • Assist in low-level ER matters, investigations and gathering documentation.
  • Provide guidance to managers on policy interpretation and award application within your scope.

    Process Improvement and Projects
  • Identify gaps in HR processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support People and Culture projects including policy updates, engagement activities, workforce initiatives, and offshore collaboration.
  • Help streamline systems, templates, and workflows for efficiency.

    Systems and Data Management
  • Maintain Employment Hero, Workforce Management platforms (e.g., TLW) and digital records.
  • Ensure audit-ready personnel files and accurate document management.

    What You Bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, Psychology or related field
  • At least 3 years experience in HR coordination or People & Culture support with increased responsibility
  • Strong understanding of Australian workplace legislation and HR governance
  • Experience with SCHADS Award, Nurses Award, or similar highly regarded
  • Strong critical thinking, judgement, and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Skilled in managing competing priorities, high-volume environments, and complex compliance requirements
