The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Risk Manager to join our small Risk team. The purpose of this role is to support, co-ordinate, analyse and implement the in-house operational risk needs of the global 7C business, including Woods Bagot, ERA-co, and Impact Futures. Reporting to the Global Risk Leader, you will be responsible for the ongoing development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the risk management framework and related operational risk activities across global operations. • Lead the ongoing enhancement and coordination of the health and safety program, including audits, documentation updates, and establishment of an assurance function.
  • Spearhead the development and execution of the business continuity framework.
  • Oversee the implementation of modern slavery risk management, including managing supplier due diligence processes.
  • Drive the creation and refinement of policies and comprehensive risk management frameworks.
  • Provide oversight of project risk management activities, including the development of supporting documentation.
  • Craft and deliver risk management communications tailored for the global business audience.
  • Contribute to critical company reporting for the global executive team and audit and risk committee as required.
  • Lead incident investigations to identify improvement opportunities and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage complex insurance programs, ensuring alignment with organizational risk objectives.
  • Direct the ongoing evolution of the enterprise risk management framework.
  • Address and resolve risk management queries from global studios with strategic insight.
  • Monitor global regulatory and legislative changes impacting risk management and develop proactive response plans.

About You

You will bring a real passion for risk management in a professional services environment, working in a small, high performing and collaborative team. You'll also be skilled at juggling competing priorities while also building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 8-10+ years' experience working in a similar in-house operational risk role. This may have been acquired in a global architecture or design, engineering, property or construction, professional services, and/or a related industry.
  • The demonstrated ability to think critically when extracting and interpreting information; to analyse data to identify trends and risks, and to think laterally about issues.
  • High-level of diligence, efficiency, and effectiveness
  • A mindset which enables you to multitask and manage time effectively, whether it is collecting or analysing data for reporting purposes or 'putting in the hard yards' as the need arises.
  • An ability to effectively develop, maintain effective relationships, communicate with senior leaders, and key stakeholders, and work with people at all levels, and relate well to people from varied backgrounds and in different situations.
  • Excellent hands-on knowledge of how to use Microsoft Office applications (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Technological adaptability is beneficial.
  • Professional writing and verbal communication skills in addition to active listening skills
  • An ability to work as part of a global team and as well as independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to attend multi-jurisdictional meetings across multiple time zones.
