About the Finance team at G+T

With a presence in each of our three offices, our friendly, supportive and high performing Finance team is made up of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing Specialists, Collections team, Practice Managers, a Management Account, a System Analyst and Payroll. This role is open to Sydney and Melbourne based applicants, with the preferred location as Sydney.

About The Role

Reporting into the Credit Manager, this exciting opportunity will see you support all aspects of accounts receivable / credit control. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing firm collections
  • Meeting regularly with partners and executive assistants
  • Preparing monthly debtor reconciliations
  • Processing credit notes
  • Reconciling client accounts and reviewing new client account approvals
  • Preparing and distributing monthly statements
  • Managing the team's shared inbox

About You

We're looking for someone who is keen to learn and to be involved in a broad range of activities and tasks and who is a great team player.

In Addition You Will Have

  • Two or more years' experience in a similar role within a professional services environment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • A positive, proactive approach
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with 3E (desirable but not essential)
  • A TAFE Diploma in Finance or Credit
