About the role:

The Digital Optimisation Frontend Developer role will develop optimised and personalised customer experiences across Suncorp digital assets utilising frontend coding and the Adobe Experience cloud platform.

The role is a technical thought leader and will maintain and develop internal frameworks, approaches and processes for effectively and efficiently delivering optimised and personalised digital customer experiences.

More specifically, you will:

• Work with Delivery Lead and Product Owners to elaborate and size personalisation and optimisation test requirements and designs.
• Build digital customer experiences within the Adobe Experience Cloud platform, specifically developing Activities, Audiences and Offers within Adobe Target.
• Build digital customer experiences in accordance with Suncorp digital asset standards including styleguide framework and responsive design.
• Work with various APIs to integrate digital customer experiences with the Suncorp digital ecosystem.
• Maintain & develop internal frameworks and processes focussed on effectiveness and efficiency in delivery of optimised and personalised digital experiences using Adobe Target.
• Creating optimisation test performance dashboard in adobe analytics.

About You:

• University degree in Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent industry experience. Desired
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with frontend / web development. Mandatory
• A minimum of 1 year with Adobe Target experience delivery. Desired
• Experience in Financial Service Industry. Desired
• Experience in a fast-paced environment such as consulting. Desired

Key Capabilities:

Essential

• Delivery of A/B testing and/or personalisation using Adobe Target.
• Expert level proficiency in HTML and CSS.
• Expert level proficiency with JavaScript and jQuery.
• Expert level proficiency with JavaScript Frameworks such as React.
• Coding of responsive design principles.
• Project collaboration including experience with Jira and Confluence.

Desirable

• Experience in working with sophisticated data science teams and capabilities.
• Knowledge and understanding of building and automation tools, transpiling JavaScript and web performance such as image optimisation, minifying CSS and JavaScript.
• Expert level proficiency in excel including macros.
• Proficiency in establishing Version Control.
• Proficiency in testing methods for web-development - functional testing and unit testing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Experience creating optimisation test performance dashboard in adobe analytics.
