We're currently seeking a motivated and technically capable Mechanical / Piping Engineer with 5+ years' experience to support a range of minerals processing and infrastructure projects across Western Australia.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer ready to take the next step in their career, contributing to detailed design, engineering coordination, and site support for ongoing brownfield upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mechanical and piping engineering solutions in compliance with project and industry standards
  • Develop technical documentation including piping layouts, material specs, and equipment datasheets
  • Perform calculations for pipe stress, supports, and pressure equipment selection
  • Assist in developing scopes of work, cost estimates, and procurement packages
  • Review vendor documents and ensure alignment with project requirements
  • Support construction and commissioning activities with engineering input
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including process, electrical, and structural engineers

Skills and Experience

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
  • At least 5 years' experience in mechanical and piping design within mining, minerals processing, or heavy industrial projects
  • Sound knowledge of Australian Standards, ASME codes, and piping design specifications
  • Practical experience with slurry piping, water services, and process plant piping systems
  • Exposure to brownfield project environments is highly desirable
  • Confident in reading and reviewing mechanical and piping drawings, 3D models, and layout designs
  • Familiarity with hydraulic modelling tools such as FluidFlow or similar software
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
  • Hold full Australian working rights
  • Willingness and flexibility to attend site when required
