Graduate Lawyer (Generalist – Wills, Family, Crime & Property Law)

Are you a recent law graduate or newly admitted solicitor looking to gain real experience across a variety of practice areas?

Lamont Law is seeking a graduate or junior lawyer to join our growing team and work across Wills & Estates, Family Law, Criminal Law, and Property Law.

You'll be part of a supportive environment where you'll develop practical legal skills, appear in court, and work directly with clients from day one.


Your Role

You'll gain exposure to a broad range of matters and tasks, including:

  • Drafting wills, powers of attorney, and estate planning documents
  • Assisting with family law files involving divorce, parenting and property settlements
  • Preparing briefs, court documents and correspondence
  • Attending court for mentions, adjournments and basic hearings under supervision
  • Supporting criminal and traffic law matters across NSW
  • Assisting in property and conveyancing transactions
  • Liaising with clients, courts, barristers and external agencies
  • Contributing to the firm's focus on accessible, technology-driven legal services

About You
  • Admitted or soon to be admitted as a solicitor in NSW
  • Strong drafting, communication and organisational skills
  • Confident speaking with clients and appearing in court
  • Eager to learn and take initiative across different practice areas
  • Able to manage competing deadlines in a supportive, fast-paced environment

Remuneration

Base salary of $55,000 – $65,000 + super, with generous incentives and bonuses available for performance and billings.

Exceptional performers can progress quickly — with clear pathways to higher remuneration as responsibility increases.
