About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Joinery Team Leader to join our production team at our Canning Vale, WA site.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee daily joinery operations — ensuring production runs smoothly, quality standards are maintained, and your team is supported and engaged.

You'll lead by example on the factory floor, working alongside your team to manufacture high-quality timber doors and joinery products. You'll also coordinate workflow, allocate tasks, manage timelines, and communicate with the Operations Manager to meet business goals.

What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day

  • Lead, mentor, and support your joinery team to achieve production targets
  • Operate and oversee tools and machines used to manufacture timber doors and related joinery items
  • Read and interpret part drawings, blueprints, and measurements
  • Set up and calibrate machinery to meet job specifications
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet our high standards
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and other departments to resolve issues and improve workflow

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience in joinery, carpentry, or timber-based manufacturing
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a production or workshop environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality, and productivity standards
  • CNC experience or forklift licence will be highly regarded (or willingness to obtain)
  • Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm in Canning Vale
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical and police check
