The Role & Duties

Supporting a Partner and team in General Liability, you'll handle the full suite of legal secretarial responsibilities, including:

  • Opening matters, running conflict checks and organising cost agreements
  • Creating, editing and formatting documents
  • Liaising with opposing counsel and managing Court dates
  • Drafting, formatting and filing Court documents
  • Formatting, editing and collating client and internal documents
  • Assisting with billing preparation (minimal)
  • Assisting lawyers in preparing for events
  • General administrative duties

About You

  • 5+ years' experience as a Legal Secretary in Insurance
  • A desire for longevity in a support role (students cannot be considered)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication skills
