With a reputation for precision, reliability, and teamwork, we are now seeking an experienced Estimator to join our growing team.
The Role
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in pricing and securing projects, ensuring accuracy across tenders, budgets, and variations. You will work closely with our directors, project managers, and site teams to provide detailed estimates that reflect real-world constructability and cost control.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for commercial plumbing projects
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and scope documents
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotes and rates
- Prepare schedules of quantities, take-offs, and returnable pricing schedules
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and risks in bids
- Support project teams with variations, progress claims, and ongoing cost tracking
About You
- 3+ years of experience in estimating (plumbing, hydraulic, or construction preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and hydraulic services
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, estimating software, and industry-standard tools
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
