About the role

This is a full-time HVAC Project Manager role with Applied Mechanical Services (QLD) Pty Ltd, based in Brisbane, Queensland. As the HVAC Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) projects for our diverse client base across the construction industry. Your role will be vital in ensuring the completion of these projects to the highest standards, on time and within budget.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the planning, scheduling and coordination of HVAC installation and maintenance projects

  • Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely project delivery

  • Monitor project progress and identify and mitigate any risks or issues that may arise

  • Ensure projects comply with all relevant building codes, safety regulations and quality standards

  • Prepare detailed project reports and documentation

  • Lead and motivate a team of HVAC technicians and subcontractors to achieve project goals

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our HVAC project management processes

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an HVAC Project Manager

  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and their installation

  • Excellent project management, problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and contracts

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating project teams
