Urgently looking for a Casual Chef for Sunday shifts 7am to 3.30pm.

Position: Casual Chef
Location: Ona Coffee Sydney, Marrickville
Employment Type: Casual, 8-24h/wk - Every Sunday plus extra shifts later on

Ona Coffee Sydney is renowned for our specialty coffee and innovative breakfast and lunch menu. We pride ourselves on our fast-paced kitchen environment, where we use local and seasonal produce to create exciting dishes for our customers. Recently we won the SMH GoodFood Guide Cafe of the Year award

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes from our breakfast and lunch menu
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and safety
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Shifts:

  • Sundays: 7am to 3:30pm
  • Additional shifts where available

Start Date:

  • Asap

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Parti or similar role
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Passion for using fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
